Common Terns at Hampstead Heath

In the summer of 2014 I spent many hours photographing the wildlife at the Men’s pond in Hampstead Heath. These common terns are very active feeding their young who make a real racket screeching whilst waiting to be fed. It’s amazing watching the parents work tirelessly, hunting small fish direct from the water. My plan next year is get a range of shots at the point when the terns enter the water’s surface.
