Hampstead Heath London Photography Winter Workshop

We lucked out with the weather for the final Heath photo workshop of 2014. It was very chilly but clear which presented numerous photo opportunities and the standard was amazing! See below……

The next workshop is on March 14th 2015 and places are going fast. Click here to book a place.

Despite the bright sun we had a very cold day. Anton, who didn't make this photo was busy photographing a nuthatch and it paid off....see below
Annie getting down low for a fresh perspective of some puffball mushrooms
The resulting image was beautiful. Very nice composition and a technically tricky exposure which she totally nailed!
Rachel captured these lovely silver birch trees against the rich blue winter sky
Great texture captured in the roots of this oak tree by Keith
Wayne picking out the forest floor details, lovely use of depth-of-field.
Kim has a creative eye for the abstract in this lovely reflection of a beech tree.
Part of his wider project about shadows Craig took this lovely forest scene of holly leaves cast against an old oak.
Ged getting down low for a fresh perspective.
Ged captured beautiful low light and the shapes of the branches really well in this vertically framed shot
Last but not least Anthony went for the ambitious and captured this beautiful image of a nuthatch with gorgeous light.
Laying out the chose prints. It was hard to select one to print from such a strong selection
Photos of photos! It was really interesting seeing everyone's individual style and as a final selection of 8 images the collective group's portfolio was really strong.
