England Hampstead Heath London Photography Workshop

It was a busy start to the year with the photo workshops and we had a full house and back to back workshops in March. As ever the standard was great and we had a wide range of styles from both workshops. New dates have just been announced so please visit the workshop page to book and for more information or click here

Bill took this lovely view of Bird Bridge and winding path draws you in!
John picked out the texture of these beech leaves, framing them well against the dark background
Vinnie's feather beautifully caught in the soft light
Rebecca captured the lovely delicate leaves of this beech tree
Diane framed the strong greens of the nettle against the forest floor
Nice leading lines as Pete framed this silver birch, giving the picture great depth
Peter caught a lovely exposure of this carrion crow. An ambitious shot well executed
Yvonne persevered with a blackthorn leaf blowing in the wind and one of them came out nice and sharp!

Sunday the 20th and with the weather on our side we ventured over to Sandy Heath. The resulting images were fantastic!

Unbelievable moment caught by Chau as a grey heron catches a toad....wildlife photographer of the year?
Lovely framing and beautiful light captured by Chau
Maya's attention to detail and beautiful colour found and captured on a dull day.
Shot from inside hollow beech and a nice view onto one of the Heath's few remaining wild service trees
Josh had the true patience of a wildlife photographer lying on his front to capture lovely moment
look closely and you'll find amazing colours on a dull day on the Heath
Beautiful composition and pin sharp shot of willow buds by Eugene
Another super-sharp shot by Eugene and lovely use of depth of field
The many interesting shapes and texture of beech bark captured really well by Lisa
The soft background helps this blue tit to stand out and the even light bring outs the colour of the plumage
