Hampstead Heath Workshop May 28th

England Outdoor Photography Photography United Kingdom Workshop

We dodged a bullet with the weather today, yet the little drizzle we did have created rich colours for the participants to work on capturing a range of great images on the Heath. This time of year is great for invertebrates taking advantage of the many flowering plants. In turn the group really took advantage getting up close and capturing some great wildlife shots.

Great framing by Rob in this shot which really draws you into the picture
Stephane - lovely use of shallow depth-of-field helping the focus point to really stand out
Les framed this beautiful oak tree using the background to help the subject stand out.
Lovely 'bug's-eye-view' in this shot from Vanessa.
Amy showed great patience and skill capturing this nice behaviour shot in the buttercup meadows
Strong colours and lovely detail captured in this tricky shot by Rod
Terry got this magnificent pin-sharp image spot on with a great composition too.
Another fabulous selection of images from a lovely group!
