Spring Nature Photography Workshop on Hampstead Heath

Categories /
Exhibition London Photography United Kingdom Workshop

Every season brings new photographic delights, and we were spoiled for choice in Cohen’s field in the North-Eastern end of Hampstead Heath. The greens are really fresh at this time of year and the meadows carpeted with wildflowers. Once again the standard was extremely high and varied (scroll down to see participants images). If you’d like to come on a workshop we have only one place left for June 5th and more availability on September 5th and November 15th. Enjoy!

We had great weather and no end of subjects to photograph on the Spring workshop on Hampstead Heath
photographer shooting spring flowers
Peter focusing on colour on the forest floor
Shirlie taking a wider view of the sorrel and cow parsley
Tea, coffee, lemon biscuits? We've got it covered
Peter persevered with this shot and it paid off brilliantly capturing this grey heron taking off.
Harry got up close picking out the architecture of this dandelion flower head beautifully
Eva framed this lovely portrait shot, capturing the moody light and leaf detail against the dark bark and great texture of this oak.
No we didn't boost the greens! Shirlie framed this composition really well capturing the spirit of the Heath at this time of year.
Anna got down low in the forest floor and captured this technically challenging picture. Does anyone know what causes the mark on this Ivy leaf?
Malcolm picked out the texture and colour among the dead holly leaves - lovely picture!
Another great and varied selection from all the participants
