England Forest London Winter Workshop

The final workshop of 2017 and the winter light was perfect – low and bright making great conditions for photography. A lovely group set about in the challenging cold conditions to gather a selection of fine images below.

The workshops for the 2018/19 season are filling fast. If you would like to book on a course click here

Elizabeth's lovely viewpoint, strong composition and dash of colour had all the elements for a great photo
Louis showed great use of a shallow depth-of-field and colour in this lovely picture of turkey tale fungi
Mikael underexposing to good effect capturing the light beautifully on the mosses
Shane opting to show a person in this shot really added to the depth of the picture and the sun flare created an atmospheric feel
Carmel kept it simple in this shot of the might beech tree. I love how the subject fills the frame
Mia exposed this tricky shot well focusing on the strong shadows and silhouetted trees
David found these frosty leaves in the undergrowth and for the composition and sharpness bang on.
Charlotte picked out the light beautifully on this group if porcelain fungus. The dark backdrop helping the subject to stand out
We lucked out at the break and warmed up at the Heath Hands volunteer fire. Thanks Heath Hands!
Half portrait, half landscape, plenty of colour and strong compositions make up a brilliant selection of wide ranging images.
