SecondĀ of two workshops on a fine spring day on Hampstead Heath and our group set about capturing the strong colour and rich variety of species on the heath at this time of year.

No matter what your level, I believe everyone has a creative eye and can capture interesting photos when given the time in a beautiful location.

The next available workshops are from October onwards, for more info and booking click here

Robert created depth to this picture using the out-of-focus buttercups in the foreground to great effect
A lovely composition and frame filling image by Brigitte showing the fresh greens and and sharp thorns of a young bramble shoot
A lovely dreamy picture by Katie and nice choice of framing to set the subject off against the background
A real 'bug's eye' view by Lila getting down low in the grasslands of Cohen's fields
Great composition and off-centre framing by Michelle showing sharp details and texture
Ray exposed this shot brilliantly of a back lit oak leaf. The unusual perspective adds intrigue to the picture
Simon showing the colour and texture covering the bark of this silver birch in this nice close-up shot
In this shot, our youngest member of the group, Zoe, captured the spirit of the woodland
