Very happy to say my image of a fox raiding a bin is a finalist in this years’ The Big Picture Competition in the Human/Nature category. There’s no doubt foxes make good use of our discarded food to survive in a city but contrary to what you might think, much of their diet is made up of natural food. In fact more than 50% including earthworms, wild birds, seeds, fruits, insects and mammals such as mice, voles and rats.
I won’t miss this opportunity to say that this image features in our book, Fox Neighbour Villain Icon and we are delighted to see so much positive attention as it represents years of dedication and effort from myself Neil and Andy.
Book is available at foxbook.shop Keep an eye out for the gatefold surprise created by Neil Aldridge showing a detailed selection of the fox’s incredible varied diet
