Course Description

Overview

A one day workshop of photography, picture editing and printmaking at Hampstead Heath and Eddie’s nearby home studio.

Photography at Sandy Heath
Sandy Heath is rich in photographic opportunities, from the flag iris ponds and hollows created by Victorian industrial sand extraction, to the regenerated oak and beech woodland. You’ll receive guidance on both the technical and creative aspects of photography. We’ll encourage you to explore a theme based on your own particular interests, to help develop your skills and vision.

Printmaking at Eddie’s Studio
Back at Eddie’s home studio (just a five minute drive away), we’ll download your images and together we will shortlist 20 for each person’s A3 contact sheet that we will then print. This will be followed by a group contact sheet review/discussion session in order to select a stand-out image from each person’s selection that we will process and print.
