A fabulous selection of images on the first of two autumn workshops

The change in seasons brings wonderful photo opportunities on Hampstead Heath. The colours are changing and fungi appearing on the woodland floor. The group set about catching a strong and varied selection of images which you can see below.

We have just announced new dates for the 2018/19 season of photo workshops on Hampstead Heath. Booking and more information is available here

Damon chose this lovely simple composition to capture fallen leaves against a dark backdrop.
Heidi got down super low, creating a bug's-eye-view and capturing the myriad colours in the strong light.
Opting for the portrait format Emily captured this beautiful atmospheric image in the 'beeches' woodland
A top down view of some fungi in emerging from the woodland floor framed and exposed really well by Lydia.
Carly took this unusual perspective a towering oak creating a three-dimensional feel to the picture.
Framed beautifully, Tom used the soft background to help this porcelain fungus stand out
Annie found this lovely cluster of hairy curtain crust fungi and filled the frame really well
Sara created lovely symmetry in this detailed shot capturing highlights on the stems beautifully.
