A fine looking bunch in the Heath woodlands

First of back-to-back workshops this weekend and a lovely group ventured out into the woodlands searching for colour, detail and abstract views. The weather was on our side and the results were fantastic.

Have a look below at the varied selection and styles.

Due to popular demand we have added another date on Sunday June 25th which can be booked here

Emily exposed this shot beautifully, capturing the soft light on the petals peering out from the dark woodland floor
Will found and framed the texture of this old beech tree really well. And dealt with a tricky exposure too
Nic filled the frame with these lush oak leaves and found a nice angle looking up from below
Nat found a beautiful background to frame this beech bud against. Remember, the background is as important as the subject you are photographing!
Avoid the 'human-eye' view. Jeff did so and very well looking up through a group of silver birch
Hannah showing the oak both old and new in this very impressive shot that also tells a nice story.
Armin rotated the frame and got up close to this bluebell to capture a lovely seasonal shot
Franco chose to include a passer-by with her dog to give a sense of scale and depth to the picture
