Blog England Hampstead Heath London Photography Workshop

The second Workshop and with so much going on at this time of year – from animal behaviour to the variety of spring colour, the Heath presents many photographic challenges. You will see a bit of everything from the group below who did a great job on a fine spring day.

Paul shot this great behaviour shot of a crow taking off. Dark birds are tricky to expose for and he nailed this too
Another brilliant behaviour shot by Soovankar and his patience paid off capturing these mating dragonflies
Rowena exposed for this graphic shot perfectly and framed it well against the dark background
Mary caught this lovely moment of dandelion seeds blowing in the wind. A great close-up shot showing fine detail
A big frame filling shot by Emanuele using the moody grey backdrop to great effect and showing off the colour and texture of the acer leaves
Claire put the shallow depth-of-field to great use in this picture of a beech nut with nice off-centre framing
Brahma got down low to capture this nice summery scene of 'dancing' bluebells
Birgit taking the 'bug's eye' view to the extreme with this lovely perspective in the Cohen's Fields grasslands
