‘The Rat Game’ – Behind the Scenes

Big thanks to The Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Luke, Paul and the team at Nirvana Studios for putting together this lovely VT which tells the story of photographing foxes close to my home in north London. The film was aired during the award ceremony earlier this month. We had just one afternoon to shoot this and as the story always goes with wildlife we got lucky right at the last. We saw no foxes on the allotment which was very unusual so we chanced it in the streets and couldn’t believe our luck when one jumped onto a low wall, pausing long enough for Paul to capture a great context shot. You can see my shot and all the winning photographs at the world famous Natural History Museum in London. The exhibition is now open for bookings.
